Tails
2021, XC273, Shanghai Tails, is a continuous series that we explore through our work and craft, as we continue to be inspired by nature and flowers, we often start our process through the inspiration of natural materials, tails is a contemporary installation, completed using floral materials, to create a abstract installation that brings a soft yet striking atmosphere to each space. Tails is created for our viewers to interact with the installation, acting as an immersive experience for all who play with Tails. Tails is all about exploring new dynamics, new ways to experience nature within an interior space, it's completely made out of flower material yet it looks like a contemporary installation.
< 3 Installation
2023, Kerry Centre, ShanghaiFor the launch of our first collectible art object, the < 3 (heart candle), BLOOP BLOOP was invited by Shanghai Fashion Week to showcase our original art IP < 3 sculpture together with our special edition blue-green gradient glass candle launching at Jing An Kerry Centre in partnership with 示场TH3MARK3TPLAC3! We created a life size version using fibreglass, that was hand-moulded, into a 3m public sculpture.
Five Cars
2023, Hug, ShenzhenA collaborative grand opening was presented together with London / China based designer Samuel Gui Yang and multi-brand retailer HUG, for it’s latest Shenzhen store. BLOOP BLOOP created an installation combining contemporary elements with Samuel Gui Yang's short film "Five Cars” taking core inspiration from Hug’s signature blue. The short film explores the different perspectives of five unique individuals in their lives. We curated three different spaces within the shop to express our visual concept.

UNI (Spiral)
2021, ALTER ShenzhenThe UNI series, started with our exploration of our original UNI installation that we created in 2021. We took inspiration from the natural elements of a sea urchin, by using a form of artificial floral material, that we customised to create the exterior shell of the UNI throughout our works to create a visual effect as life-like to the real UNI. For the first rendition of the UNI series, we created a spiral installation that measured 5m length, and 3m width, with a height of 4m.

2022, ShanghaiThe concept of the installation is titled ‘Outside In’ and ‘Inside Out’, by combining natural elements with man-made structures using metal, acrylic gel, resin to create a contemporary installation, for cosmetics brand Cosmic Speculation.

Shadow
2021, Linforni, ChengduThe concept of the installation designed for Chengdu, multi-brand retailer Linforni, was to create a plant based installation. Inspired by light and shadows, we created a cylinder shape installation, that combined branches, leaves and light. Allowing for the viewer to interact with the installation by pacing around it, the installation illuminates throughout the day. At night it leaves a soft, enchanting glow that is presented in the main window of the entrance.

SND, GuangzhouSpike System is a continuation series by BLOOP BLOOP, exploring the concept of the age of social media. The constant need for validation from strangers, and the toxicity relationship we have with it. A special colour way was presented for SND, Guangzhou commissioned by fashion label VII VICTOR X WANG.
