To celebrate the upcoming Year of the Snake, RIMOWA commissioned BLOOP BLOOP to design special window installations for multiple physical retail stores across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, spanning 21 windows nationwide. The installations showcase its iconic large-sized silver classic aluminum suitcases alongside the new red polycarbonate suitcases.
Our design follows the concept of dominoes, drawing inspiration from the serpentine form. Bases are extended across multiple locations to display RIMOWA’s signature products. We also created a custom display platform, incorporating domino elements of varying lengths to complete the installation. The final outcome is realized in silver and bright red. The goal of this project was to create a lightweight, creative installation that highlights RIMOWA’s products while bringing an energetic and refreshing design to welcome the new Year of the Snake in China.
